I want to give some advice about the beach in TianJin.
First, I think it is difficult to get there because the beach is far away our school, and you should follow the instructions carefully and do not lose yourself.
Second, you had better take enough money because the food and other things are so expensive, when I first to get there, I can’t afford even a bottle of water.

Advice for shopping Hello, everybody. My name is Rebecca and if you have any problems, you can ask me for help. I will give you some advice for shopping. So, girls should pay attention. In TEDA, there are few places that you can go for shopping, such as TESCO and QIANBAIHUI. They are all in the THIRD AVENUE. You can go there by the little train beside our school or you can take the 880 bus. It takes you about 30 minutes to go there. However, as I have told you before, TEDA is not a good place for shopping. There is only few shops in TESCO and the clothes in QIANBAIHUI are too mature, not good for our age. Therefore, I advise you to go to WAITAN. The TESCO there is bigger and have more shops. Near the TESCO there is a shopping street so that it’s a great place for shopping!!! There are many kinds of brands and shops there so you can have a lot of choice. Also, there are many no-name clothes there which are very cheap. If you walk around carefully you can find a lot of good places. I’m sure you will love there. If you still want more choices, go downtown in Tianjin. There is a famous long shopping street there which called BINJIANGDAO. Also there are many big shopping malls there. If you have time, go there for shopping. However, the things there may be a little expensive. If you don’t want to spend a lot of money, you can go to TAOBAO Street. There are many cheap clothes there but the quality is not so good. Advices about other schools you can visit When you are tired of life in TUST, there are some other schools that you can pay a visit. For example, you can hang out to the school which is nearby our campus. (You go directly from the west gate and walk directly then you can see the school) There is a TEDA college in the third street and that college is near to the TEDA library. You can compare these schools to ours and you may find yourself satisfied with TUST.

Some places for enjoying movies It is usual for us to see a movie when we are free. The nearest place to see a movie is in the Third Street. There is a shopping mall called Qian Bai Hui whose forth floor offers a movie city. This movie city have comfortable conditions for us. And if there is any new movie on the screen, we can go there and enjoy ourselves. Of course we can show our student card so we can get a half off the price. To go there is also very easy. 880 and the tram are both able to get there. If you go there by taxi, it will just cost you 18RMB.

TEDA Football Field
TEDA Football Field is famous all the world. Because it’s the best Chinese professional football field. Total field can hold forty thousand fans to watch the game together, and the distance from the stands field is very nearly. Here, each week will have the different games, and have so many important events. Such as the Chinese national team game, real Madrid game, has the Olympic Games the football match. There are a lot of world star to here, such as star Renaldo, Cristiano Renaldo and Beckham, etc.
Here is the most important game, Tianjin TEDA team, and each week will have game, and scene is spectacular and hot. If you have time, you can go to enjoy the atmosphere there; you will realize the most perfect game.

Advice for transportation
I’d like to tell you something about the transportation from our school to somewhere. If you go to the center of the city, you can take 651 buses or take the “little train” which starts the west gate of our school then transfer light rail at the last station. The second way takes about 1hour. The first one takes 30 minutes more, but I think it is more convenient. When you go to anywhere in TEDA area, my way is taking a taxi.

Advice about BinJiang Road Here are some advices about BinJiang Road. It is in Tianjin, a little far from the campus, but there are several ways to get there. One of them is the school bus, you can take the school bus to HeXi campus, it will cost 6 Yuan, and then take the subway, and it will cost 3 Yuan. The whole trip will takes you about two hours. Another way to there is taking number 651 bus, it is a through bus to BinJiang Road, get off of the at the Kouqiang hospital station, it will cost 7 Yuan. But I do not like number 651 bus, it takes a long time, about 2 and a half hours. Then, you get to the BinJiang Road, there are a lot of shopping malls and restaurants, you can enjoy yourself. The snacks street is worth visiting, I love that place most. After having a good time, if you want to go back to school, I have a good advice for you, the light rail. You can take taxi to 11jinglu, and then take the light rail to TaiDa, take the tram to school. You can take the number 651 bus also, but it is much crowed! P.S. Take care of your purse!!!!! Lucy_Gan
About the train station
Hello, new QIBA students, congratulation for pass the College Entrance Examination. I’ll give lots of information for you guys which are connecting with the train station. TUST is a little far from Tanggu Train Station, if you go there by taxi it will cost you 25~27RMB and maybe 20 minutes. Moreover, you can choose another way by the bus NO.835 or NO.651 which will cost 6RMB and 7RMB but few more time. If you want to go to Tianjin Train Station, another name Tianjin East Train Station, of course you can take a taxi (I’m joking, because it will cost more than 100RMB), but I suggest you to take NO.651 and you can go to Binjiang Road also by this bus just get off when the bus arrive at Dental Hospital station, so you can see this is absolutely a good bus but attach lots of people if you want to return TUST by it. Good luck guys, hoping you can past all the exams and get more than 6 score in IELTS.

I want to introduce the KTV around our campus.
First , you can go singing on the third floor of the old canteen building. This KTV Is more like a bar. You can have a drink in there, and if you don’t shy, it is a good place to sing.
Then, if you want some good places, I recommend you to the third avenue. There are two good ktv ‘East Pearl’ and ‘Theme KTV’. I prefer ‘East pearl’, The serves of there is better. But “Theme KTV” has some special rooms.
Go to there after 12 pm is cost-effective. And I think you’d better bring some water.

Something thing about the Foreign Goods Market (Yanghuoshichang)
This market is different from the others, for its specials goods. You can found famous brand there but almost all of them are fake. Japanese students studying in our school enjoy this market. You also can found some little stuff, like watch, motorbike even lighter. Things for you I recommend are some food. You can buy the erduoyanzhagao, a kind of Tianjin location snack. Also there is a great market for fish.
If you want to go there, bus 880 will be the best choice. Get off at the yanghuoshichang stop. At the same time, you can go to Waitan Park at the same time.

Advice for forest park
Your university is attractive so much, but it is boring if you stay in it all day. Why don’t you find a good place to have fun? Around the campus, there is a really good place for you to enjoy yourself—TianJin BinHai Forest Park. It is a big and beautiful park. The air there is so fresh and so many animals’ statues were put in the park makes you feel that you are in the real forest truly. As I suggest, you can go there for a small trip or go picnic on the weekends. It is a really big park, so you can rent bicycles from my classmate---Nan, to go through it. But please don’t go there in the evening, the park still don’t has lights and the statues there looks so frightening in the darkness, I am afraid you will get mental hurt if do so. In conclusion, it is a great and fascinating park; I hope you can have fun there.

Hello, guys and girls
If you are annoyed about the limited ATM system in campus, you can go to the 3rd avenue to seek any bank you like. In TUST the ATMs will drive you crazy. There are some ATMs in the new and old canteen, such as ABC, SPDB, and ICBC etc. In fact most students are used to card of ABC. They don’t want to pay transaction fee. So you can always see the long line behind the ATM of ABC. It takes you a lot time. Actually some students are interested in China Bank or City Bank. You can`t find the ATMs in campus. When you go to have fun on 3rd avenue and don’t have enough money, you have better seek the large bank system in TEDA. The commercial centre of TEDA is the 2th and 3rd avenues. You can find a lot of ABC along the street. The various banks are gathered in the financial district on the 3rd avenue. It must meet your needs.

If you want to have Spring trip, I think you can go to Ji xian, It is the only place in Tianjin which have mountains, but it will cost you a lot, if you are in TEDA, I think you just can go to Taifeng park, it’s cheap and convenient. And I think if you want to travel by the river, you can go to city and to travel by boat at night. The big wheel “Tianjin Eye” is also the choice. if you want to go shopping, you can choose Binjiang road, in TEDA, you can go to the third street or Waitan road.

ABOUT THE TAIFENG PARK
Hello, welcome to this college and join us. I think you must have the most unforgettable memory in this year. Here are some tips for you! Tianjin is a special city. I think you will adapt and like it soon.
Although our campus is far away from the centre, it still has a lot of beautiful and fun places around it.
Taifeng Park (泰丰公园)is one of such places. The park is free to public. Our class had spring travel there and we had a wonderful time. You can get there by bus or bicycle. If you want to hold a class campaign, it is the best choice for you because the park is large enough to play any activities. If you just want to relax yourself with several friends, I suggest you prepare to take bicycles and have a picnic there. There are some bicycle rent agencies in our campus. Or you can contact me. I plan to begin this business next term.
PS: If you want to have a BBQ there, please be careful! It is not allow to do this in the park, but you can find some quiet and safe place beside the park to enjoy you “fire food”.

It is necessary for group of people or the whole class to sing together to relax and get closer.
I did that several times. I had fun in singing with my friend.
So in my opinion, the oriental pearl KTV on the Third Avenue is the best-serviced.
And the price is also the lowest.
You can choose sing in the daytime or at night.
You can take the electric train or bus there.
